What we do

We take notifications, rules and policy letters and turn them into pages you can actually use: what a rule says, who it covers, which numbers apply and which paper your office will ask for. Where it helps, we add a calculator that follows the rule step by step, so you can see how a figure was reached.

How we write

• Every guide names the notification, rule or Act it comes from.
• Where a source is unreadable, unclear or has been amended, we say so instead of guessing.
• Calculators are checked against the worked examples printed in the rules wherever those exist.
